Manager Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance

1 Position

Reporting to the Chief Officer-Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance, this position is responsible for development, review and implementation of risk policies, audit and procedures, as well as providing independent and objective assurance on adequacy and effectiveness of organization systems and controls for management of compliance and risk.

Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelors degree in a business related field, professional qualification in finance and accounting (CPA or its equivalent).

Certification in auditing such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be an added advantage.

The successful candidate must have over 3-5 years working experience in a similar position in a busy environment.

Corporate Communications Officer

1 Position

Reporting to the Chief Officer- Business Development and Marketing, this position is responsible for planning, developing and execution of proactive corporate communication and PR strategies to support and enhance the brand positioning of The Nairobi Women’s Hospital and its constituents in line with our strategy.

In addition, the job holder will ensure sustained internal and external communication and must have previous experience managing communication via social media.

Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or Public Relations.

The position requires active knowledge and experience in social media management.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years cumulative experience in a similar position.

Internal Auditor (Information Systems)

1 Position

Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, this position is responsible for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the information system and automated business processes to ensure compliance to Company policies, processes and procedures.

Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree with professional qualification at diploma level (CPA finalist or its equivalent) and professional certification as an information systems auditor (C.I.S.A) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.

Credit Officer (Work in Progress)

1 Position

Based at our Nakuru branch and reporting to the Hospital Manager, with matrix technical reporting to the Credit Controller, this position will be responsible for ensuring ongoing engagement with clients within the hospital and delivery of accurate and timely bills, invoices as well as ensuring regular payments in line with defined company policy and guidelines.

Applicants must be in possession of a Professional qualification in credit management with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position.

A bachelor’s degree in a business related course will be an added advantage.

In addition this position requires active knowledge and experience in building relationships and excellent negotiation skills.

Experience in hospital or insurance industry will be a definite advantage.

Facilities Officer

1 Position

Based at the corporate office, this position will be responsible for providing technical support on key projects while ensuring completion as per budget and within agreed timelines.

In addition, this position will provide support to the units to ensure current facilities are maintained as per the required standards.

Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.

A bachelor’s degree in a business related course will be an added advantage. In addition this position requires active knowledge of construction related legal requirements, excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.

Bio-Medical Technologist

2 Positions

Based at the hospital and reporting to the Hospital Manager, this position will be responsible for cost effective maintenance of hospital equipment and at the same time ensuring availability of equipment for use as per defined company policy and guidelines.

Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Medical Engineering Technology with at least 2 years’ experience in a busy hospital.

Working knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineering will be an added advantage.

Assistant Internal Auditor

2 Positions

Reporting to the Internal Auditor, this position is responsible for supporting the audit process through collecting, collating data and information as required.

Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field with professional qualification (CPA Part 2 or its equivalent) with a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position.
